Today, we are going to notice a connection between two things that are not immediately obviously related. The first is the implicit theology of nationalistic political programs. The second, which we’ll bring to bear on the first, is what we’ve come to call in the church the doctrine of justification by grace: that by grace through faith we are justified, not by works – by things we do.
