  • This Sunday we will welcome Tom Grayden, a Melbourne Uni chaplain whose ministry MtE supports financially; Tom will speak about his work after worship.
  • Also this Sunday, Church Council meets with the CAN CC after morning tea.
  • Monday Movies at the Nova. Monday, October 6: our movie will be The Wolves Always Come at Night, commencing 10.35am, runtime 96mins. Arrive 10.00+ to purchase tickets (or online beforehand). Coffee/toasties from the Nova afterwards for those who’d like to discuss the film… (A WhatsApp group has been set up for communication around this in future, including having a say in the next movie!)
  • Quarterly Conversation on the Quarterly Essay: Friday October 17, 11.00–12.30, in the library at the Center for Theology and Ministry.
  • Discernment Day (CTM event) Are you wondering “where to from here” in terms of your discipleship?  Ever thought about what God might be calling you to?  And how do you know it’s a call from God?  The Synod equipping Leadership for Mission team warmly invites you to attend a Discernment Day on Saturday 25 October. We will offer an opportunity to learn about discernment, lay and ordained ministries, UCA processes, and educational pathways.  This event will be held in person in Parkville and online.
